30 for 30 Day 1: Worried

shirt: Old Navy, vest/skirt: Target, tights: Walmart, boots: JCPenney

Well, my 30 for 30 challenge has officially begun! I’m excited about it and looking forward to reading about how the other ladies are doing with theirs – you can check out their links on the side of my page. One thing I’m worried about though - if my husband finds out I can pull this off, I bet he’ll petition to get rid of things in my closet on the basis that I can clearly survive on limited items.  :) Maybe we’ll keep this challenge our little secret…

  2. I like te gray and green color combo I also have an outfit schedule and calendar, I felt like I needed it from the get-go just so I knew what I was doing each day. Also, I'm not very creative with my clothes when I have to pick them out at 6 in the morning....

    1. Thanks Ginny! It has made getting ready and out the door on time a little easier. That's been especially helpful since I went back to work this week after a week and a half off of work! :)

    1. Thank you!! The best part about this skirt is that it's so comfortable. The material has just enough stretch to it!

  5. Love the grey and green together! Such a great color combination! Good luck on the 30 for 30! I did one summer before last and it drove me crazy! I would have been fine if I hadn't included shoes. Limiting myself to six pairs of shoes for a month just didn't work for me. :) The rest of it was pretty fun though.

    1. Thanks Nicole! I thought about pairing it with some brighter tights, but wasn't feeling that brave quite yet. :)

  8. LOL, I guess that would be my fear too if I pulled off a challenge like this, that my husband would make me get rid of stuff!

Great start for day one, I love the green skirt!

  10. I can't wait to see how this challenge turns out! I doubt he'll do anything that drastic, plus you will be so excited to get back to your full closet by the time this is over. You're off to a great start with that bright skirt and layering! Good luck, lady!

  11. Oh wow I love this very first outfit. I have a Ponte Skirt in that color, but mine is short. I love it paired with the Dove Gray. =)
