Back At It

shirt: Walmart, belt: Target, skirt: thrifted, shoes: Clothes Mentor
(It started raining harder and I was not interested in sticking around long enough to get another picture with my entire head in it...haha)

I’m back! Work and life got in the way of me posting consistently last week. I do hope you missed me! :)

I feel a little bit back to my normal self today in fun heels and a skirt. Stepping on the scale this morning made me realize that no matter how much I run, it’s still not an excuse to eat a whole bag of Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos in one weekend or to over-indulge in two of my favorites, bread and cheese. (Why does Trader Joe's have to have such good cheeses?!) This shirt was chosen for its forgiving nature, and the belt gives some contrast while playing into the colors of my shoes. Here’s to showing some self control this week!

    1. Thank you Christina!! You're too sweet! I do love having enough flexibility at my job that I can wear outfits like this, but then can wear skinny jeans the very next day. :)

  2. I missed you! LOL, glad to see you back! I really like your yellow belt - it totally popped off the page to me! And OMG Trader Joe's cheeses are the best, seriously.

    1. Thanks Beth! I still got to read your blog and all my others I check out each day, mostly using my phone, but I still felt like I totally disappeared last week!

Trader Joe's may be the best place ever. There's a sharp cheddar cheese with a little bit of parmesan in it that I cannot stop buying and eating, no matter how hard I try! :)

  3. Haha, I feel your pain - I was wearing mostly "forgiving" items after coming back from vacation! Love the outfit though, and those shoes are gorgeous. Glad you're back! :)
