Denim + Denim

shirt: thrifted, jeans: Gap, scarf: Old Navy, boots: Target

I'm not going to lie, this is a re-created look. I changed out of my sweatpants and cute Cleveland Browns tee this afternoon just to take this picture, then changed right back into them and headed for the couch again. I wore this outfit last weekend when we headed back to my parents house for Christmas. I had been wanting to try the denim on denim look for awhile, but was a little nervous about it. Apparently the last minute rush to get everything done and packed up was just what I needed to ignore those nerves!

  1. Looks good! I'm gonna sound dingy but I've never thought to re-create a look after I've changed out of it. I tend to be a "one and done" kind of gal. I'll have to keep that trick in mind...

    1. Thanks Jana! Usually I'm lazy and if I don't get a picture the day I wear it, then I just don't get to blog about it. :)

  3. I like it! I haven't done the denim on denim much myself yet, but thinking of trying it sometime - I think it works well especially with the green scarf you have on!

  4. Absolutely love this! I don't think I ever tried the double denim look myself, but you've pulled it off so well! And adding that green scarf is a super cute way to polish off the look too! Happy New Years, lady!
