30 for 30 Days 3 & 4: Tantrum

shirt: Old Navy, jeans and boots: Target
shirt: Old Navy, scarf and shoes: Target, jeggings: Kohl's

Today you get a 2 for 1 deal! Last night included some girls time, then husband time so I didn't take the time to blog about Fridays outfit. This morning my husband made me go to the gym. I was feeling pretty cranky about that, but I'm actually thankful for him doing that. It's almost pathetic how out of shape I am after running a marathon not even 3 months ago and I really need to do something about that.

After getting home from the gym, we decided to go see a movie and my crankiness returned to the point where I thought I was actually going to throw a tantrum. I was tired, didn't feel well, and all I wanted to do was wear my yoga pants and a hoodie to the movie. But that would be breaking my rules now, wouldn't it? So I decided to stick with it, because breaking the rules on day 4 might be more pathetic than my workout was this morning. :) What I learned is that jeggings are possibly more comfortable than my yoga pants. Thank goodness!

  1. Both of these are nice casual outfits. I think the hardest thing for me will be my Saturday posts. I just am not a fan of dressing up on Saturdays. Sunday is easy of a pic. Because of church, then after that I can put on sweatpants. :)

  2. LOL I call those my 2 year old meltdowns. I had a day on the couch feeling blah all day. No outfit for me unless a miracle happens in the next few hours! :( Your jeggings are cute.

  3. Jeggings are more comfortable I think, they are so stretchy and awesome!

I totally had a day like that yesterday too, my cold isn't totally gone yet and I may have actually thrown a little pity party, but then I did get dressed enough to go to the local bar with the hubby to grab burgers for dinner. I feel ya! You look cute in both outfits!

    1. You're definitely entitled to a pity party - I full support that! I hope you're finally feeling better though!

  4. Oooohooo I love Day 4, so simple yet so chic (inspired here). Also the Henley & Riding Boots on the 3rd day's outfit look great. =)

Hope your weekend has been good.

  5. Dude, I'm impressed you ran a marathon! I practically give myself a medal if I can survive my spin class.

I've never tried jeggings before, but I've gotten fed up with my black skinny jeans not lasting as long as I want them to, so I finally bit the bullet and got my first pair of leggings (that weren't forced on me by my mother when I was in elementary school). Since I want to wear them as pants, though, I put some Spanx on underneath them so no one can see my underwear.

And you look adorable, by the way! I fall apart when coming up with casual outfits. Bravo for doing a 30 for 30. I've done it once, and I'm not sure if I'd be emotionally prepared to do it again.

    1. Thanks Terri! I really love them and I think the fact that they zip up, button, and have back pockets makes me feel like I'm getting away with skinny jeans. :) Spanx underneath is a great idea for leggings tough! I never would've thought of that!

  6. You ran a marathon?! DANG! I feel like I conquered the world if I make it to 2 miles. I'm impressed!

So, about that comment you left me....WHOA!!! That is SO crazy! Married on the same day and honeymooned same week/same place?!? That blew my mind! And so awesome to meet someone in Columbus! :)

    1. Thank Michelle! I ran the one here in Columbus and I think it was the hardest thing I've ever done. Totally worth it though!

So crazy about our weddings and honeymoons, isn't it?! The resort wasn't that big...we had to be hanging out at the same place at some point that week!

    2. Totally crazy!! I'm sure we saw each other!! Definitely was not a huge resort.

  7. Oh man, when I get hungry or tired, it's over. The two year old in me is coming out to play. Not an attractive quality in a grown woman and definitely one I'm working on :)

    1. Yes! I'm awful when I'm hungry, but thankfully I've gotten a little better about that. The other one for me is when I'm too hot. I am the worst then!

  8. They are, but decided to make up our own rules and I just couldn't give up the shoes! To me they're like an accessory, and I'm too in love with them all to limit myself to a few pair. :)

  9. I really like both outfits. I'm cranky when it's past my eating time too. Speaking of tantrums, I threw a big one on Friday. If you stop by and read my upcoming Monday post, you'll see why. I guess we're all entitled to have those moments when we lose control of our moods :) Have a great week!
