Old Jess vs. New Jess

shirt: thrifted, necklace: JCPenney, jeans: Gap, shoes: Old Navy
Today I'm tired.  I thought I'd point that out in case you couldn't tell from my lack of a hairstyle today.  (You can probably see it in my eyes too!)  Old Jess would've put on a v-neck boyfriend tee with her jeans today with some plain black flats.  New Jess decided to step it up a little bit and and wore this button up that she knew would look better by itself along with some fun jewelry and bright shoes.  As crazy as I think I sound, I swear I was just as comfortable today as I would've been in the jeans and tee!

  2. I think many people think stylish and comfortable are opposites, but they really don't have to be! You look cute! I especially like the pop of yellow in the shoes, but you know I'm partial to yellow!

    1. That day was one of the first times I felt stylish with that little effort. I really think it made my day that much better too because I just felt better knowing that I looked a little more pulled together than I felt.

  3. I love the color of that top and also the shoes! They are so cute! I know the feeling of just wanting jeans and a t-shirt, but it's fun to step out of that comfort zone sometimes!

    1. Thanks Laura! It's a color I don't have much of in my wardrobe, but think it's a new favorite!
