Thrifted Purses

I love thrifting a good purse! I found the purse in the first picture while I was shopping on a recent day off of work.  I was on the phone with a friend and wandered around the store about 10 times until our conversation ended, because I can't stand to be on the phone while checking out.  I was browsing through a few shirts, when I saw a girl put the purse back on the display at the end of the aisle.  I snagged it, and avoided her as I continued to wander around the store, just in case she changed her mind and wanted to try to get it back! :)

The second purse I found while at a conference in Akron this past week.  The hotel I choose to stay at was not right by the conference, but it was right by Salvation Army.  I checked it out on my way out of town and found the purse and a few more good finds I'm sure you'll see soon.  When I looked inside, I found this:

Advertisement for a funeral home in the form of a nail file.  It seemed a little sad!  Has anyone else had some odd finds in their thrifted purses??

  1. That brown purse is beautiful! It looks like such nice leather. Way to snag it!

    1. Thank you! I have another purse that's similar, but the quality of this one was so much better, so I couldn't resist!

  2. I love finding a good thrifted purse! The oddest item I've ever found was what appeared to be those toddler snacks - a couple of crumbs of those, so I probably got a purse that belonged to a mom.

    1. That's funny! I've had to take a hand vac to a purse before to get all the crumbs out!
