Apparently I can't hang anymore. We went back home to hang out with my in-laws on Saturday night and go to the wild game feed their friends put on every year. It's a great excuse to drink some beers, eat some strange food, and play games with the guys. Big left-right-center winner for the second year in a row right here! Thanks for the $162 guys... :) My husbands' grandma drove us all and even took us to the local bar for a drink afterwards. You guys, this woman is 82 years old, played a few rounds of flip cup with us (mostly with water though, but she is so good I will forevermore make sure I'm on her team!), and then took us to the bar until 1am. Best thing ever was how cute she was, dancing to her beloved George Straight in the middle of the bar. Truly, when I'm her age, I hope I'm even half as fun and lively as she is! Best part? I bet grandma feels great right now...and me? I'm exhausted and woke up fighting off a cold this morning. I guess I have a lot to learn!
This sounds like great weekend. I can't hang either, if I'm up after 10 I'm tire the next day. Love te pop of color with your scarf!

Thanks Ginny! 10 is usually our bedtime too...and not much later than that on the weekends. :)
DeleteJust found your cute blog through the GFC Collective. I'm a new follower. Hope you'll stop by sometime!

DeleteJess, you party animal. No wait maybe your Grandma is the Party Animal! hahahaha
ReplyDeleteShe really is! I'd say I was pretty lucky to marry into a pretty fun and amazing family. :)
DeleteOh wow, it definitely sounds like you had fun, but I would be dragging too! I really like the color of your scarf, looks great with stripes!
ReplyDeleteIt was so much fun, but an extra day added onto the weekend would've been helpful! :)
