Staying Positive

DSC01620
tee & sweater: Old Navy, pants: thrifted, shoes: Target

Well...I didn't get the position I interviewed for. I spent a few days pouting and to be honest, only got out of my sweatpants once on Saturday, to run errands at Bed Bath & Beyond and Target. Didn't even bother to change to go to Giant Eagle for a few things, and was only slightly embarrassed when a former student was my cashier for my purchases of wine, lip color, chips, and salsa (hey, these things make me happy). But today, I think I'm over it, and truthfully pretty excited that at least I'll get to move into an advising team working with newer college students - a role I think will be a perfect fit for me and one I'll truly enjoy. So here's to a positive attitude...I'll raise my glass of wine to that!

  4. Sorry the job didn't work out. I always go for chips and salsa when I get bad info - it is my go-to happy food. I love your outfit, though!

  5. First off, this outfit is really cute and cozy. I have a bright blue pair of pants I've been wearing all the time lately.
Secondly, I'm sorry to hear about the job opportunity. It sounds like you still are have some great things about your current job that make you happy so that's good. And chips and salsa definitely help =)

    1. I know, I've been loving your outfits with those blue pants! I'll probably have to look back through the looks you've put together to get some ideas on what else to wear with them. :)

    1. Thanks Nancy! It's frustrating, but I need to remember to be proud of myself for putting my name out there and stepping out of my comfort zone, even if this time it didn't end up with getting the job. Life goes on, right?! :)
