30x30 - Day 2

DSC01936
dress and sweater: Old Navy, belt: Kohl's, boots: Target

I used the Pinned It and Did It link up over at H&K Style Journey to come up with this look for Day 2 of the 30x30 challenge (check out the inspiration photo below!). A layered look is easily my favorite, and I think the belted dress helped this boyfriend cardigan look less oversized than it can sometimes look. And although I'm sure we're all sick of talking and hearing about the weather, yay for temperatures warm enough to wear a dress and tights without being so cold you could cry!

  3. Very cute! I steal from pins all the time. I don't know how people (including me) dressed themselves prior to 2012.

  6. This is one of my favorite type of looks - I love a sweater dress with a belt! And the cardigan just looks so warm, adds a nice cozy quality to the whole look!

  7. This turned out great! The color is really pretty on you. I haven't done a belted look in so long, but you inspired me to do one real soon. And yay for being able to wear tights and dress without freezing your booty off! Thanks for linking up!

  11. Nailing the first 2 looks so far, using both Neutrals and a Bold Color too: first Red, now Teal. Good re-creation of the pin.
