30 for 30 Day 2: Thank You

blouse: Buffalo Exchange, sweater: thrifted, pants: New York & Co, shoes: Payless

my attempt to show you the coordinating buttons!

I have to be honest, all your sweet and encouraging comments the past few days have left me even more excited about joining in on this round of the 30 for 30 challenge! I feel like of all the pieces, I had a few comments that mentioned liking this leopard collar shirt and this cobalt sweater, so I decided to put them together. I thought that the gold buttons on both the shirt and sweater worked well together, and I really needed something comfortable (or should I say baggy enough – still recovering from the holidays!) and this outfit did the trick. So thank you readers for being responsible for todays’ look, and don’t be surprised if I need your help again to make it through this challenge!  :)

  4. I love cobalt blue and black today (as demonstrated by my first 30x30 outfit). I also love the gold buttons and leopard strip on that shirt. So fun! :)

  6. It's VERY OK to take advise & inspiration from other bloggers. You look great on your second day. I love the matching, festive gold buttons. I also think the cardigan's buttons go so well with the Leopard trim. I can see you remixing these same tops (which I both love) with a pencil skirt. I would try your Blue Pencil Skirt & the Camel Pencil Skirt (you have included in your remix for 30 for 30).

I hadn't stopped by here in a few days but now I am all caught up & left you some comments & thoughts along the way - check them out.

I hope you had a Great NY Eve.

Miss you on my page, Ada. =)

  8. Ohh and by the way I am also wearing Blue & Black today (on top) with Black Bottoms. We have reversed our looks. I am wearing a Cobalt Blue Blouse with a Black Cardigan with Houndstooth Trim on the front, while you are wearing a Cobalt Blue Cardigan with a Black Blouse with Leopard Trim on the front. Check it out. =)

    1. Thanks Renae! I've really fallen in love with leopard print lately. It's such a fun print, but I think it can really look professional too when it's done right!

  10. I'm curious where the leopard top is originally from - I'd love to find something similar for myself!

    1. The brand name is Noble U. I tried to search on google, but didn't find anything that was too helpful. If the rest of their clothing is like this shirt, I'm sure I'd want to buy a lot more!
